GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS 

- Kota Bharu district police headquarters, Kelantan

A total of 15 personnel here have been placed under home quarantine after contact with a detainee who tested positive, Bernama reported.

The personnel were tested on Dec 25 and their swabs returned negative for Covid-19, Kelantan deputy police chief Abdullah Muhammad Pian was quoted as saying. 


MARKETS 

- Pasar Awam Banting, Kuala Langat, Selangor

The market has been ordered to close for disinfection until Jan 7 after a total of 25 cases were found to be linked to this venue.

Selangor Health Director Dr Sha'ari Ngadiman said 43 close contacts of infected persons have been screened, while 101 traders will undergo screening on Thursday. 


BUSINESSES

- Bank Islam, Bukit Jelutong, Selangor

This branch is temporarily closed for sanitation after a staff member tested positive for Covid-19, the bank said in a notice.

Customers are advised to seek services at the Denai Alam or Setia Alam branches instead. 

- Starhill Dining, Jalan Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur

According to The Vibes news website, a trainee restaurant worker here tested positive for Covid-19.

The trainee was undergoing industrial placement at Starhill Dining, which houses six fine-dining outlets.

On Saturday, Starhill Dining said it will close temporarily for sanitation as a "precautionary measure" but did not mention Covid-19 infection among staff.

YTL Hotel, which owns the restaurant, told The Vibes it was informed of a "suspected case" on the same day and took immediate action to sanitise its premises.


RESIDENCES

- Apartment Aliran Damai, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur

A resident tested positive on Dec 27, the management said in a notice yesterday.

This is the second case detected at the apartment complex, it said.

Disinfection will be done in common areas and facilities.

Starting yesterday, no visitors or contractors are allowed in, all common facilities are closed while the management office will be closed. 

- Vista Komanwel C, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur

A resident of Tower C2 tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday, the management said in a notice.

All common areas and frequently touched surfaces have been disinfected. 

- Various locations in Sungai Long and Mahkota Cheras, Selangor

According to Sin Chew Daily,the following locations in Mahkota Cheras reported cases among residents in the past week.

They are:

- Vistana Mahkota Apartments;

- Jalan Pahlawan 3;

- Jalan Pahlawan 5; and

- Mahkota Garden Condominium

It was reported that some of those infected had meals with family members or friends, who were later found to have been infected as well.

- Indah 2 Apartment, Sungai Long, Selangor

A family of three, including a toddler, living here tested positive for Covid-19, Sin Chew Daily reported.

They reportedly had a meal with a couple in nearby Mahkota Cheras.

The couple was also found to have been infected.

- Cameron Tower, Petaling Jaya, Selangor

A resident who has been tested positive for Covid-19 is currently undergoing self-quarantine at the apartment.

Cameron Tower management said it had sanitised the lift, the staircase and the common area.

The residents were told to put on their masks all the time at the public area and adhere to the SOPs on Covid-19. 

- Kampung Timbang Dayang, Kota Belud, Sabah

Those who attended a birthday party at this village on Dec 22 were called to get tested for Covid-19 by the Kota Belud district health office.

Similarly, those who attended a bertitik ceremony (pre-wedding ceremony) at this village on Dec 18, also need to go for screening.

- Zenia Parkhome, Desa Park City, Kuala Lumpur

A resident here tested positive for Covid-19, the management said in a notice yesterday.

All possibly affected areas have been disinfected, it said.

- Paradesa Tropika Apartment, Sri Damansara, Kuala Lumpur

A resident at Level 1, Block A tested positive for Covid-19 on Dec 27, the management said in a notice yesterday.

Sanitation was scheduled to take place yesterday.

Residents are advised to minimise unnecessary visits to Level 1 of Block A for 14 days, it said.

- Setapak Green Condominium, Kuala Lumpur

A resident of Level 22 tested positive for Covid-19, the management said in a notice yesterday.

The resident has been in quarantine since Dec 26, it said.

All common areas, including on Levels 21 to 23, facilities and lobbies at Level 1, 3 and 5, the management office, common toilets, guardhouse, lifts and staircases will be sanitised, it said.

- Aliran Damai Apartment, Cheras

A resident of Aliran Damai Apartment has been tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday. This is the second coronavirus case detected at the apartment since Nov 14.

The management corporation bans visitors from entering the apartment and renovation workers are not allowed to carry out renovation work at the apartment units during this period.

- Seri Maya Condominium, Jalan Jelatek, Kuala Lumpur

Two residents of Block J and C respectively have tested positive for Covid-19, the management said in a notice.

A case was earlier reported at Block P on Dec 25.

Disinfection will be done at the two blocks from 6.30pm to 8.30pm tonight.

All lifts will not be operational during this period, the management said.

- Jalan Satang, Medan Idaman, Kuala Lumpur

A cluster of cases has been detected at this housing estate in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur.

The Jalan Satang cluster, which also involves cases in the Kepong, Klang, Petaling, Gombak, Hulu Langat and Bentong districts, has 30 cases to date.

The index case is a 79-year-old man who tested positive on Dec 20 and was symptomatic, while the other cases were his social contacts, the Health Ministry said.

According to MySejahtera, 23 cases are detected within a kilometre radius of Jalan Satang, located in the Titiwangsa district.


SPORTS AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES

- Sungai Long Golf and Country Club, Selangor

The club was closed from Dec 25 to 28, after a staff member tested positive for Covid-19.

Other employees tested negative, the club said.

The club was sanitised on Dec 26.

- Royal Klang Club, Klang, Selangor

A member of the club who attended the Annual General Meeting on Dec 27 tested positive for Covid-19 the next day.

The club is closed for sanitation from today until further notice, it said in a notice.

- Raintree Club, Jalan Wickham, Kuala Lumpur

The club was closed for sanitation from 8pm yesterday until further notice after a member tested positive for Covid-19.

The member was at the club on Dec 25 and 26, it is learnt.

- AvenGym, Cyberjaya, Selangor

The gym will be closed today, after confirming that one of its part-time staff and a customer tested positive for Covid-19 recently.

Its management said the staff's last appearance at the gym was on Dec 24, from 3.30pm to 9pm, while the customer last showed up on Dec 24, from 9pm to midnight.
