DAP adviser Lim Guan Eng branded Umno and BN as “untrustworthy partners” in the unity government and urged the rakyat to reject them in the next election.
The Bagan MP cited Negeri Sembilan BN’s recent attempt to topple Menteri Besar Aminuddin Harun as proof that Pakatan Harapan cannot rely on its friendship.

“Another is the often-stated pronouncements that BN and Umno will go it alone in the next general election against Harapan despite working with Harapan and assuming key cabinet posts in the unity government.
“These repeated stabs in the backs of Harapan by BN and Umno, forsaking national interests for private political benefit, clearly show that they should continue to be rejected by the rakyat,” Lim said in a statement.
Corruption
Former economy minister Rafizi Ramli described his first day of questioning by the MACC regarding the government’s deal with semiconductor firm Arm Holdings as being focused on procedural matters.
“It is straightforward because the investigation, at this stage, is not related to money or corruption, but concerns procedures… all of which are in government records,” Bernama quoted him telling reporters as he arrived at the MACC headquarters this morning for a second day of questioning.

Pandan MP Rafizi Ramli Previously, the MACC had questioned his former aide James Chai for three days over the RM1.1 billion investment, lasting between six and 11 hours in each round of questioning.
