BUSINESSES

- Taman Free School Market, George Town, Penang

Part of the market is closed from Nov 13 to 27, while traders have undergone Covid-19 screening.

The Penang City Council said the closure is ordered under the Infectious Diseases Prevention and Controls Act.

It did not state why the closure was ordered, but it was earlier reported by local media that a Covid-19 case was detected there.

The area closed involves 136 stalls, selling fresh produce and cooked food.


RESIDENCES

- Ketumbar Heights Condominium, Taman Cheras Utama, Kuala Lumpur

A resident at Block B was tested positive for Covid-19 and taken to hospital on Nov 12, according to a notice issued by its management office.

It said the Health Ministry has carried out disinfection activities at the location to prevent the spread of the virus, and that the management will ensure that other occupants of the affected unit would not be a risk to others.

- I-Park Apartmenthome, Bayan Lepas, Penang

A Covid-19 case was detected here yesterday, the joint management body said in a notice.

The affected unit will be sanitised by the Health Ministry soon, it added.

- KL Traders Square, Jalan Gombak, Kuala Lumpur

A resident of Block D tested positive on Nov 12.

All common areas will be sanitised, the management said in a notice.
