RESIDENCES

- D'Aman Ria Apartment, Petaling Jaya, Selangor

A resident at this apartment tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday and was taken to Sungai Buloh Hospital.

According to a notice by the apartment management dated Nov 18, they are closing the premises to all visitors and contractors for 14 days.

They are also conducting sanitisation at all common areas.

- Aliran Damai Apartment, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur

The apartment's management body issued a notice on Nov 14 notifying residents of a positive case there who was brought away by an ambulance the night before.

A temporary ban was then enforced on all visitors and contractors, except essential services. Public amenities such as the swimming pool and playground are closed.

They are also carrying out sanitisation activities at the premises.

- Magna Ville Condominium, Selayang, Selangor

Positive cases have been detected at several units in Block A, B, and C of this condo near the Kepong-Selayang Highway.

It is learned that some have completed the 14-day quarantine.

The condominium is off-limit to visitors during the conditional movement control order.

- Puteri Palma Condominium, Seri Kembangan, Selangor

A resident of Block J tested positive yesterday, the management said. The person's family tested negative but are in self-quarantine.

The management has instructed its cleaners to sanitise common areas more frequently.

- OUG Parklane Service Apartment, Kuala Lumpur

A resident at Block A1 of this apartment has tested positive for Covid-19, according to a notice sent out by its management body this afternoon.

Following this, they have taken the initiative to conduct disinfection activities on possible contaminated areas and offered assistance to the occupant of the unit affected so as to ensure minimal risk posed to other residents.


BUSINESSES

- Maybank Kubang Kerian, Kelantan

The bank branch posted a notice dated today, saying that a staff member here was identified as a close contact of a Covid-19 person under investigation. It said the contact happened outside the premises.

Following this, the bank branch was closed until further notice. Photos of the notice had gone viral on social media, including Kelantan-based Facebook pages.

- Celebrity Fitness, Quill City Mall, Kuala Lumpur

It is learned that this gym was notified of a Covid-19 case earlier this week.

When contacted this morning, a staff member said sanitisation works have been done at the premise on the same day they were notified.

The gym's operation is unaffected.

- Vintry Damansara, Jalan Kasah, Kuala Lumpur

Two staff members have tested positive, the wine bar and restaurant said.

All staff were sent for mandatory testing after a cluster was detected at Jalan Kasah.

Both infected Vintry staff were asymptomatic and last reported to work on Nov 16 and Nov 17 respectively.

Vintry Damansara and its sister establishments Stoked Restaurants and Toji Sake Bar are closed for sanitation until further notice.

- CPI Penang Sdn Bhd, Bayan Lepas Industrial Zone, Penang

An employee at the Bayan Lepas factory has tested positive on Nov 16, the company said in a statement.

The employee is believed to have contracted the virus from a family member.

All employees are to undergo swab tests while disinfection has been done according to Ministry of Health guidelines. Production is not disrupted, it said.

 - Jabil Batu Kawan manufacturing plant, Penang

According to a report by China Press, the company had issued a notice saying that one of its staff who works at Jabil Batu Kawan factory was tested positive Covid-19 yesterday (Nov 18).

However, the staff had not come to work since Nov 13.

Following this, the company had embarked on contact tracing activities and took the initiative to close the plant for one day to allow for disinfection.

- Maybank Pasir Puteh Branch, Ipoh, Perak

The bank branch is closed temporarily starting today until further notice.

According to China Press, the bank had posted a notice at its premises saying that a staff member had been identified as a close contact of a Covid-19 PUI (patient under investigation) recently.

- Pecca Group Berhad, Kepong Kuala Lumpur

The company that specialises in leather upholstery for car seats today reported to the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE) that several workers under its subsidiary, Pecca Leather Sdn Bhd, are suspected of having close contact with Covid-19 positive cases.

Following this, the company, which operates at Industri Desa Aman in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur, embarked on mass screening for all its employees on Tuesday, Nov 17.

So far, one employee has tested positive for the coronavirus.

Pecca Group has since suspended its production operations and ordered all employees to work from home. Sanitisation works have also been carried out at the company's premises.

- Port Klang Free Zone, Selangor

PKFZ's management has reportedly issued a notice to tenants today stating that 19 people working at PKFZ have tested positive for Covid-19. They work at Maersk D'Block Petikemas, SX15 Shui Xing, and Australia Building Technologies.

Sinchew Daily reported that two of those infected are Malaysians, while the remainders are foreigners. Most of them last reported to work yesterday, but four last reported to work on Friday last week.

The notice also listed their home addresses at iSuite Tower and Blok Liberty at iCity, Shah Alam; Kampung Perigi Nenas in Pulau Indah; and Kampung Telok Gong and Indah Point in Port Klang.
