BUSINESSES

- Jaya Grocer, Glo Damansara, Kuala Lumpur

The management of this grocery store said one of its staff from the branch at Glo Damansara tested positive for Covid-19 on Dec 24.

The staff had not been to the store since Dec 18, it said.

The branch will be closed from Dec 24 until further notice. All staff from the branch will undergo a swab test.

The management said sanitisation and disinfection works are currently being carried out in the store.

- Menara UOB, Jalan Raja Laut, Kuala Lumpur

The UOB Malaysia said today that an employee at Level 15 of its headquarters has tested positive for Covid-19. The employee was not a customer-facing employee.

The bank said it is conducting deep cleaning of the affected floor and all common areas of the building today. In addition, it said the branch and self-service facilities located on the ground floor also undergo a daily deep cleaning before beginning operations.


RESIDENCES

- BSP21, Bandar Saujana Putra, Selangor

The management said in a notice dated Dec 24 that there has been a sixth confirmed case of Covid-19 detected in the apartment, this time involving a resident from Block D Level 17.

The previous five patients from the apartment have been treated and discharged from the hospitals, it added.

Disinfection and sanitisation have been carried out in the common areas of Block D.

- Pangsapuri Servis Spring Villa, Taman Ukay Perdana, Selangor

The management yesterday issued a notice saying that one resident had tested positive for Covid-19.

Sanitisation work is being carried out. The management is also barring visitors to blocks A, B, C, and D for 14 days - with deliveries only up to the guardhouse.

- Permata Fadason Apartment, Taman Fadason, Kuala Lumpur

Two Covid-19 cases have been detected in Block D of the apartment, said the management in a notice dated Dec 24.

The two residents tested positive on Dec 23, which was confirmed by the Kepong health office the next day. 


OFFICES

- Wisma 99 Speedmart, Klang, Selangor

The company said one of its employees working on the 10th floor of the building had tested positive for Covid-19 today.

The employee had not come in for work since Dec 22.

Close contacts have been asked to undergo swab tests and the affected areas in the building have been sanitised.
