Rosmah Mansor is seeing red over allegations that she made a hush-hush deal aimed at transferring a posh mansion in the US worth US$13 million to businessperson Daing A Malek Daing Rahaman.
Both Rosmah and Daing have denied the allegations, with the former also lodging a police report over the matter.
Daing is a close associate of Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar and often acts as a business partner.
The allegations appeared to be aimed at casting aspersions that the Najib Abdul Razak family was making some sort of deal with the king.

Split polls, oh bother
The Election Commission has set two different timelines for the Johor and Negeri Sembilan polls, with election day on July 11 and Aug 1, respectively.
EC chief Ramlan Harun cited logistical considerations, training of election personnel, and the level of operational preparedness as the main reasons, saying extra time was needed to prepare for Negeri Sembilan.
This is despite Negeri Sembilan dissolving its legislature just four days after Johor.
Even Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming was flabbergasted, saying the EC’s explanation is “absurd” and “ridiculous”, and the entire commission should resign if it cannot hold simultaneous elections for two states.
With polls spaced out, and nomination day for Johor on June 27, it means we’re all in for a prolonged period of politicking and campaigning, dear reader.

PAS embraces Hamzah’s new party
PAS has openly embraced the ex-Bersatu faction led by Hamzah Zainudin and their new Wawasan Negara party.
Not only that, but PAS has also decided to reverse its decision to take over the opposition leader post in Parliament, and will instead retain Hamzah.
The move is a major slap in the face for Bersatu and its president, Muhyiddin Yassin, a week after they got dumped by PAS.
